Resetting Provider Password
If a provider has forgotten his or her password, you can reset it. (If a provider leaves the company, you should inactivate him or her.) For more information about inactivating providers, go to Deactivating Providers.
- On the Encompass home screen, click Administration.
The Company: Setup screen opens.
- On the top menu bar, click Resources and select Provider Setup.
- Search for the provider.
- Click Reset Password in the Reset Password column.
A temporary password appears in the Reset Password dialog box.
- Copy and paste the temporary password and send it to the provider whose password you are resetting so that he or she can log in and create a new password.
- Click OK.
