Setting Up Staff Scheduler Resource Hours

You can set up your resource hours in the Scheduler before you use it, or you can modify resource hours at any time. (You cannot set up resource hours until you set up office hours.) To set up office hours in the Scheduler, go to Setting Up Resource Schedules.

To set up resource hours for a room or piece of equipment in your company, add the room or equipment as a staff member.
  1. On the Encompass home screen, click Administration.

    The Company: Setup screen opens.

  2. On the top menu bar, click Resources and select Staff Setup.
  3. Search for the staff member for whom you want to set up resource hours.
  4. Click Modify in the Clinic Hours column.
  5. Modify resource hours as described in Setting Up Resource Schedules.
