Generating the Patient Refund Report

The Patient Refund Report lists the amounts/payments refunded directly to patients using the adjustment type Refund Overpayment Balance to Patient.

  1. Click Claim Management and select Claim Management.
  2. Click Billing Reports.
  3. Click Patient Refund Report.
  4. Enter the Transaction Date range to print, or select dates from the calendar.
  5. Select the Patient to print.
  6. Enter the Claim Number.
  7. Click Generate.

    The report opens in a new window.

    If the report does not open, check to make sure your browser is set to allow pop-up windows. For instructions, see Enabling Pop-ups
  8. To export the report, perform one of the following steps:
    • Click Export to PDF to open the report as a PDF file.
    • Click Export to Excel to open the report as an Excel spreadsheet.
