Generating the Patient Statements Report

The Patient Statements Report allows you to print outstanding patient balance statements for orders recorded during the selected time period.

You can print patient statements in either summary or detailed format, depending on your Patient Statements preferences set in Administration. Detailed format allows for customization and provides additional information, including Patient Uncovered Balances from Billing Adjustments. Using the detailed format also allows you to download the report to a CSV file for uploading to the TriZetto Provider Solutions Patient Exchange.

The statements default to summary format. See Setting Up Patient Statements and Statement Notifications for information on changing your Patient Statements preferences.

If you have a multi-location practice, you can generate patient statements for multiple offices at the same time after business hours, depending on your time zone, as follows:

  • Pacfiic: 4:00 pm to 6:00 am

  • Mountain: 5:00 pm to 6:00 am

  • Central: 6:00 pm to 7:00 am

  • Eastern: 7:00 pm to 8:00 am

Limiting statement generation to one office at a time improves system performance.
