Viewing Prescription History

Both eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions are listed in the patient's prescription history.

  1. On the left side of the Demographics screen, click Rx.
  2. In the Rx History grid, the Source column indicates whether prescriptions were recorded by your practice in Eyefinity Practice Management (Manual), prescribed by an outside provider (Outside), imported from Eyefinity EHR, or imported using a certified partner telehealth integration.

    • Click a prescription to view it in the Rx: Glasses or Rx: Contact Lenses screen.
    • If you need to edit a prescription, click the Recheck icon. For more information, go to Rechecking Prescriptions
  3. If you have Eyefinity EHR integrated, or are using a certified partner telehealth integration, any imported prescriptions that have missing or invalid information are displayed in the Failed Rx grid. Only the five most recent errors are shown.

    • Click the View Details link in the Error Message column to view the error message. You may need to access Eyefinity EHR or contact the telehealth provider to correct and resend the prescription.

    • Click Dismiss to remove an entry from the grid.

    • Click Dismiss All to remove all entries from the grid.
