Logging In

Your system administrator will give you the URL of your instance of Encompass. You will see the parts of the product to which the Encompass administrator has given you access.

If you have trouble logging in the first time you use the system, ask your administrator to check that the correct office is selected for you in the Works at Office(s) drop-down list in Staff Setup or Provider Setup screen.

  1. Open a Firefox, Chrome, or Safari browser.
  2. In the address bar, type the URL and press Enter.
  3. Record your Office Identifier, Login Name, and Password.
  4. If you want the browser to remember your login name each time you visit Encompass, select Remember login name.
  5. If you want the browser to remember your office identifier each time you visit Encompass, select Remember office identifier.

    Selecting this option hides the Office Identifier text box during future login attempts.

    If you are a contractor or freelancer (for example, a billing specialist) who works at multiple offices, then you may not want Encompass to remember your office identifier each time you log in, so do not select Remember Office Identifier.

  6. Click Login.
    After five failed login attempts, you will be locked out of Encompass. If this occurs, you can reset your password by verifying your user account. For more information, go to Resetting Your Password.
