We are excited to announce Eyefinity PatientNavigator™! This Patient Engagement add-on service gives your patients 24/7 online access to their prescriptions, order receipts, and order status.

Minimize requests and calls to your practice, and keep patients informed without a lot of lift from your staff. Eyefinity PatientNavigator automatically notifies patients based on their contact preferences in Eyefinity Practice Management—whether they want a text message, an email, or both— when a new eyeglass or contact lens order is in process. Both the text and email include the order number and provide a link to the online Order Status where the patient can view a detailed invoice (receipt).

When you opt in to these new digital features, you provide patients with secure access to active prescriptions, order receipts and order statuses via your practice’s website, which empowers patients to take control of their eye health and conveniently retrieve information when they need it. Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is limited and we streamlined the patient authentication process so documents and order statuses can be accessed securely while complying with regulatory rules. No online account is needed, we use the patient’s phone or email information in Eyefinity Practice Management to authenticate.

When you purchase Eyefinity PatientNavigator, we will request the following information to set-up the service in eWebextra:

Practice Company Logo – your practice logo to be included in the emails, digital receipt and digital prescription should be uploaded in Eyefinity Practice Management.

  • Practice Phone Number – the From added to be used in emails.

  • Practice Email Address – the From added to be used in emails.

  • Practice Website URL - the link to your practice website.

  • Doctor Signature for Rx – An image of each Doctor's signature needs to be uploaded in Eyefinity Practice Management for the online digital prescription.

  • URL to Book Appointments – If your practice offers the ability to book an appointment via your website, provide the link to your scheduling service.

  • URL for Order Contact Lens – If your practice offers the ability to order contacts via your website, provide the link to your ordering service.

  • URL to Order Frames – If your practice offers the ability to browse frames via your website, provide the link to view frames.

If you do not use Eyefinity's eWebextra, you will need to contact your website administrator and ask them to add two links: Order Status & Invoice and Prescription. We will provide the URLs.
