CenterVue Interface
ExamWRITER interacts with the CenterVue DRS software as follows:
- Before the capture process when patient information is transferred from ExamWRITER into CenterVue DRS to create or update retinal images
- During the review process when new or existing CenterVue retinal images are available for on-screen review

Network Connection Method
The CenterVue interface uses a wireless router or wired Ethernet cable to connect to the computer.
- Back up your CenterVue DRS data. For recommended backup procedures, contact CenterVue.
- If you began using CenterVue DRS before ExamWRITER, your patients’ CenterVue Patient IDs and ExamWRITER patient numbers will differ and will not be linked. To link them, run the Eyefinity/CenterVue Patient Synchronization Utility.
