Setting Up the CenterVue Interface

ExamWRITER does not support the CenterVue DRS Plus model.

  1. In the ExamWRITER main window, click Tools, select Equipment Integration Setup, and select Equipment Interface Setup.

    The Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window opens.

  2. Click Add.
  3. Select the CenterVue manufacturer and the Capture (Fundus Camera) device.
  4. Click Add.

    The settings and options appear.

  5. (Optional) Enter a Device Nickname.
  6. Record the CenterVue IP Address.

    To find the CenterVue IP address, go to the CenterVue equipment, open the Settings panel, and open the Network tab.

  7. (Optional) Click Test Connection to verify that you can connect to the CenterVue equipment.

  8. Click Save.

  9. Click Add.

  10. Select the CenterVue manufacturer and the Review (Image Manager) device.
  11. Click Add.

    The settings and options appear.

  12. (Optional) Enter a Device Nickname.
  13. Record the CenterVue IP Address.

  14. (Optional) Click Test Connection to verify that you can connect to the CenterVue equipment.

  15. Click Save.
  16. Close the Eyefinity Equipment Interface Setup window.

If you use ExamWRITER 12 and you installed the new Eyefinity Equipment Interface (see Installing the Equipment Interface), do not follow this procedure. Instead, see To set up the CenterVue interface for ExamWRITER 14 and later.

  1. In the ExamWRITER main window, click Tools, select Equipment Integration Setup, and select Equipment Interface Setup.

    The Equipment Interfaces - Setup window opens.

  2. To have ExamWRITER record data received from CenterVue in a file for debugging purposes, select the Debugging mode/Write to file checkbox.
  3. Select the CenterVue Capture checkbox.
  4. In the IP Address field, enter the network address.

    To find the CenterVue IP address, go to the CenterVue equipment, open the Settings panel, and open the Network tab.

  5. Select the CenterVue Review checkbox.
  6. In the IP Address field, enter the network address.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Exit.
  9. Close and reopen ExamWRITER to activate your changes.
