Opting Patients Out of Notifications in Bulk

If patients do not want to receive email notifications about new clinical health summaries or secure messages, practice administrators can opt patients out from receiving notifications. For information on opting individual patients out of notifications, go to Modifying & Viewing Patient Account Information.

  1. Log into the provider portal as a practice administrator. For more information, go to Logging into the Provider Portal.
  2. Click Administration, select Configuration, and select Bulk Notification Opt Out.
  3. Click Filter.
  4. Select search criteria and click Search.
  5. Under Opted Out? in the search results, select patients who want to opt out of receiving notifications.
  6. Click Save.
