Getting Started with Commissions

Before calculating and reporting commissions, you must set up a few areas of OfficeMate. Perform the following steps to prepare OfficeMate to calculate provider and staff commissions:

  1. Ensure that you have indicated which providers and staff are eligible to receive commissions.   2. Ensure that, for providers and staff with special commission requirements, the Commission Override settings are complete.   3. Ensure that you have established which product types are commissionable and what the commission percentage and spiff amounts are. For more information about setting up product commission information, see To set up product types.
