General Enhancements
- We updated to SQL Server 2022 Express, which will install on new OfficeMate server installations, but not on existing servers.
OfficeMate Fixed Issues
- Patient Welcome forms now print from the Appointment Scheduler in order from first appointment time of the day to the last.
- All line items now appear on CMS forms when transferring charges for a secondary claim. Previously, base attributes transferred but material attributes did not.
- We corrected an issue that prevented PG and BF lenses with Add Power from billing correctly.
- We removed the word 'Consolidated' from the Receipts Journal and added the ability to view payment type descriptions and check numbers when you enter those details into your records.
- We fixed two issues that began to occur for some users with Day Sheet reports after installing the 15.3.5699 Release Notes
- We removed a location pop-up window that required you to click 'OK' before the report would populate.
- We corrected an error that prevented these reports from printing from End of Day due to an additional location not being specified.
- In the Scheduler, we corrected a typo in the Deletion Warning window that appears when an authorization is deleted.
ExamWRITER Enhancements
- We added 'Referral cancelled' and 'Referral appointment not made' check box selections to the Patient Referral window to help you document the outcomes of referrals you make.
-
We added a new 'Health Assessment' selection to Clinical Decision Support, with further selections of 'Physical' and 'Mental', to trigger any necessary alerts when working with patients during exams.
-
To enable you to document patients with visual spatial issues in an exam, we added a 'Visual spatial disorder' selection to the Impression/Assessment > Visual Efficiency menu.
ExamWRITER Fixed Issues
- We corrected an issue that prompted an error message for some users opening ExamWRITER after upgrading to the 15.3.5699 Release Notes. The error message no longer appears and you can open the application normally.
- When you click a 'Neurology' selection in the 'Impressions/Assessments' section of an exam, it now opens into a new window for you to make edits.
-
We ensured that deleting the Patient Medication section from an exam for any given patient only deletes medication history from that specific exam. Medications added to other exams for that patient will remain.
Equipment Interface Enhancements
- We corrected a coding issue that prevented the Huvitz HRK8000 interface from importing data into patient exams.
Regulatory Enhancements
- We created a selection under the 'Tools' drop-down menu that allows you to export feedback from decision support. The selection is titled 'Export DSI Feedback.'
- We created a selection under the 'FHIR App' drop-down menu that opens a 'PDSI-Source Attribute' form, where you can record information in the appropriate tab selection options and prompts.
- We corrected an issue that prevented A1c data from sending correctly. Associated data will now populate correctly and calculate accurately.
- NOTE: The corrections are not retroactive and will only impact A1c documentation moving forward.
