Extended Ophthalmoscopy
The AMA is adding new extended ophthalmoscopy codes to replace retiring codes.

VSP claims submitted with the new extended ophthalmoscopy codes will be on hold until the second quarter of 2020, after which they will be processed and paid. These codes are the only CPT codes with changes on January 1, 2020, that are reimbursable by VSP.
Evacuation of Meibomian Glands
The AMA is adding new evacuation of meibomian gland codes.

Extracapsular Cataract Removal
