Reporting MIPS Performance with the Eyefinity EHR Registry
Beginning with the 2021 performance period, CMS has changed the requirements for reporting Promoting Interoperability performance data directly from Eyefinity EHR. You must have reported clinical data to two registries—either Eyefinity EHR's built-in dry eye and POAG registries or two outside registries—to be able to use the Eyefinity EHR MIPS data registry to report your Promoting Interoperability performance.
If you're claiming an exclusion, you must report your Promoting Interoperability performance data to CMS directly through the QPP Portal. You may continue to report other categories using the built-in MIPS data registry.
The built-in registry enables you to submit your MIPS data directly from Eyefinity EHR to CMS.
Eyefinity EHR features a built-in registry that enables you to submit your MIPS data to CMS as an individual or as a group. This allows you to submit data from within Eyefinity EHR directly to CMS without having to use the QPP provider portal or any other registry.
To learn more about the MIPS dashboard, go to Tracking MIPS Performance with the Eyefinity EHR MIPS Dashboard.
The deadline to submit your data using the Eyefinity EHR registry is March 31 of the year following the MIPS performance period. For example the deadline to submit 2021 MIPS data is March 31, 2022.
- The Eyefinity EHR registry requires a per-clinician annual subscription. To purchase the registry, call Eyefinity sales team at 800.269.3666.
- You must purchase the registry by mid-March to be able to submit MIPS data for the preceding performance year.
- Your MIPS data is sent instantly to CMS. You may immediately log in to the QPP provider portal to review your submission.
