Understanding Quality Requirements
Quality accounts for 30% to 50% of your MIPS score. the quality performance period is the full calendar year. To qualify for an incentive payment, you must report six quality measures. To report a measure, you must report a minimum of 20 cases under that measure (i.e., a denominator of at least 20). The value of each measure and reporting method varies according to benchmarks established by CMS.
