Setting Up Telehealth Exams

If you integrate with Eyefinity EHR, you need to map telehealth exam services in AcuityLogic Admin before you can pull details from telehealth exams documented in Eyefinity EHR into AcuityLogic POS.

  • For information on documenting telehealth exams in Eyefinity EHR, see Documenting a Telehealth Exam.
  • For information on the billing codes CMS recognizes for telehealth services, see Understanding Telehealth Codes.
  • Depending on the code and insurance you are billing, you may be required to capture additional information as a part of your telehealth exam services. Information such as Place of Service and Procedure Modifiers for telehealth should be entered before submitting the claim. For information on editing claims, see Editing Claims.

To set up telehealth exams

  1. Identify the telehealth exams services you want to map in AcuityLogic.
  2. In AcuityLogic Admin, map and price the telehealth exam services. See To map and price other items.
The exam descriptions in the table may be different from the telehealth exam services descriptions in AcuityLogic. When mapping telehealth exam services, search for the services you want where the item name starts with the procedure code.
