Rescheduling Appointments in Book View in AcuityLogic POS

You can also reschedule multiple appointments. See Rescheduling Multiple Appointments in AcuityLogic POS.

To reschedule appointments in Book View

  1. Open Book View to the Manage Appointments view. See Navigating Book View in AcuityLogic POS.
  2. Click the Reschedule icon () in the Actions column for the appointment you want to reschedule.

    A message displays above the Scheduler grid notifying you of the original appointment information and the Appointment Search fields display.

    To cancel rescheduling and keep the appointment for the original date and time, click Cancel Reschedule.
  3. Search for a new appointment time and date. See Searching for Open Appointments in Book View in AcuityLogic POS.
  4. Click the link in the Time column for the time and date of the new appointment.

    The Reschedule Appointment dialog box displays.

    If you reschedule the appointment with a different doctor and the appointment duration exceeds the default appointment duration for the new doctor, you have the option of shorten the appointment duration. To shorten the appointment duration, select the check box next to the message that displays in the Reschedule Appointment dialog box.
  5. Click Submit to reschedule the appointment.
