Setting Up Rotations and Date Ranges in AcuityLogic POS

The availability schedules set up for resources follow the Normal Hours - No Rotation schedule by default. This schedule indicates that the resources have the same availability each week. You can customize availability schedules for resources by setting up rotations and date ranges.

To set up rotations and date ranges

  1. Click Associate in the left column of menu options.

    The Login window opens.

  2. Select your name from the Associate drop-down list, type your password in the Password field, and click Login.

    The Scheduling tab opens.

  3. Select the resource you want to set up rotations and date ranges for from the Resource drop-down list.
  4. Follow the process below to set up a rotation:
    1. Click Rotation Setup.

      The Week Rotation Setup window opens.

    2. Type or select the starting week for the rotation in the Week Rotation Start Week field.
    3. Select the rotation duration in weeks from the Number of Rotating Weeks drop-down list.
      The rotations you set up are not linked to the week in a month. For example, Week 1 of a rotation is the week selected in the Week Rotation Start Week field and not the first week of a given month.
    4. Click Save.
  5. Follow the process below to set up a date range:
    Create a date range only for temporary adjustments to the normal schedule, such as holiday hours, limited hours due to renovation, etc.
    1. Click Range Setup.

      The Date Range Setup window opens.

    2. Click Add Date Range to create a new date range.

      OR

      Click Edit to update an existing date range.

    3. Type the description of the date range in the Range Description field.
    4. Type or select start and end dates in the Range Start Date and Range End Date fields. The date range cannot overlap with existing date ranges.
    5. Click Save.
    6. Click Return to close the Date Range Setup window.
