Maintaining Physical Inventory in AcuityLogic POS
You can record physical inventory counts in the Physical window in AcuityLogic POS. Regularly performing a physical count ensures correct inventory tracking and provides an accurate perpetual inventory of all items you sell. You can record physical counts using a bar code scanner or a physical inventory worksheet. You select whether to use a bar code scanner or the worksheet for recording inventory from the Inventory Fields menu in AcuityLogic Admin. See Setting Up Company Information.
If your company is set up to use central inventory, you can create inventory sessions only for frame collections in AcuityLogic POS. Full inventory sessions for frames or accessories are created and managed from AcuityLogic DC. After a full central inventory session is created for your location, you can record inventory counts from the Physical window.
