Optovue Interface

(Undefined variable: zzEIVariables.ProductName5) interacts with the Optovue software as follows:

  • Before the capture process when patient information is transferred from (Undefined variable: zzEIVariables.ProductName5) to the Optovue software to create or update retinal images
  • During the review process when new or existing Optovue retinal images are available for on-screen review

The Optovue interface saves equipment data to the (Undefined variable: zzEIVariables.ProductName5) DATA folder on the (Undefined variable: zzEIVariables.ProductName5) server. You can view the images on all computers that have (Undefined variable: zzEIVariables.ProductName5) installed and the Optovue review interface enabled.

Network Connection Method

The Optovue interface operates on a Windows-embedded computer. The Optovue interface can use only one camera per Terminal Server.

  • You must install (Undefined variable: zzEIVariables.ProductName5) on the computer to which the Optovue equipment is connected.
  • Back up your Optovue data. For recommended backup procedures, contact Optovue.
  • If you began using Optovue before (Undefined variable: zzEIVariables.ProductName5), your previously captured Optovue retinal images are not linked to patient exams in (Undefined variable: zzEIVariables.ProductName5). Only retinal images captured with the (Undefined variable: zzEIVariables.ProductName5) equipment interface are linked to patient exams in (Undefined variable: zzEIVariables.ProductName5).
