Accessing Your Training Sandbox
When your practice adopted Eyefinity EHR, your practice was issued a dedicated training sandbox. Your practice clinicians and staff accessed the training sandbox throughout your onboarding process to learn how to use Eyefinity EHR. Your access to the training sandbox continues even after your practice goes live.
There are several reasons to continue accessing the training sandbox even after your practice has gone live:
- Training new staff. Assign new staff an account in your training sandbox and ask them to follow along with our Eyefinity EHR Video Library
- Testing how different settings will impact your practice. If you want to see how various settings will impact your practice, you can test them in the training sandbox so you don't disrupt your patient flow.
- Exploring new features before they're pushed to your production environment. Eyefinity is pushing new features to the training sandbox prior to new releases. This gives you an opportunity to see how the new features work prior to seeing patients.

The training sandbox is completely separate from the live production environment that you use when you see patients. This means that any settings that you change in the training sandbox will also need to be applied to your live production environment if you want to adopt those changes in your practice. User accounts are managed separately in both environments. This means that if you want a user to have access to both environments, you'll need to create an account for the user in each one. This also means that users will manage separate passwords in each environment.
