Resizing Images

Follow these instructions to resize an image for uploading as a logo, patient photo, or an electronic signature in Encompass.

Resizing Images in Windows

  1. Right-click the image file
  2. Click Open with and select Paint.

    The image opens in the Paint window.

  3. In the Image area of the toolbar, click Resize.

    The Resize and Skew window opens.

  4. Select Pixels.
  5. Type 188 for the Horizontal value. The Vertical value adjusts automatically.
  6. Click OK.

  7. Click File and select Save or Save as to save the resized image file.

    You can now upload the file into Encompass.

Resizing Images in macOS

  1. Make a copy of your original image file.
  2. Double-click the image file copy.

    The image opens in the Preview app.

  3. Click Tools and select Adjust Size.
  4. Select Pixels from the Width/Height drop-down list.
  5. Type 188 for the Width. The Height adjusts automatically.
  6. Click OK.

  7. Click File and select Save to save the resized image file.

    You can now upload the file into Encompass.
