Zeiss i.Profiler & i.Scription Interface

The Zeiss i.Profiler and i.Scription interfaces interact with ExamWRITER as follows:

  1. ExamWRITER exports patient demographic data to the Zeiss i.Profiler equipment.
  2. The Zeiss i.Profiler equipment exports auto refraction data to ExamWRITER.The data is displayed in the Auto Refraction group box on the Vision/Rx tab in the ExamWRITER chart window.
  3. ExamWRITER exports the auto refraction Rx and manifest Rx, if recorded, to the Zeiss i.Scription software.
  4. Zeiss i.Scription software calculates the Rx to the one-hundredth decimal point and exports the final Rx or the manifest Rx to ExamWRITER. The data is displayed in the Final Spectacle Rx group box on the Vision/Rx tab in the ExamWRITER chart window.
