Creating and Modifying Eyeglass Lenses
This section explains how to set up eyeglass lenses.
Before you create an eyeglass lens that is available to AcuityLogic POS users, the following attributes must be available:
- Lens base type
- Style
- Material
- Color
Optionally, you can also use these attributes:
- Tint
- Coating
- Edging
Run a search on each of the attribute items to make sure you have the components you need. See Searching for Attributes Needed to Create an Eyeglass Lens.
For multitenant environments, the setup covered in the following topics can be completed only by administrators of the parent company. Those administrators can create and modify items for all companies from the Product menu. Administrators of individual companies cannot access the Product menu.
If necessary, eyeglass lenses can be set up or updated for individual companies after the initial lens setup is complete. See Setting Up Eyeglass Lenses for Individual Companies.
