Generating the Scheduled Recall Report
The Scheduled Recall Report displays a list of recalls that meet your selection criteria and have been assigned to patients. Past due and future recall patients are included on the Scheduled Recall Report, depending upon the recall type you choose. Once you have generated the Scheduled Recall Report, you can print mailing labels, letters, and postcards for patient correspondence from the Recall screen. For information on printing letters and postcards from generated reports, go to Recalling Patients.
Only staff and providers who have the Marketing Reports security setting selected can access this report.
Here is an example of how scheduled recalls work.
Today is January 1, 2019, and Olivia Office Manager is running her monthly recall reports. The practice has two patients needing recall appointments:
Sally Smith is due for an annual eye exam February 1, 2019.
Daniel White is past due for an annual exam. He was due on December 5, 2018.
In the Recall By Scheduled Recall window, Olivia enters a date range of January 1, 2019 through January 31, 2019. She also selects the Annual Eye Exam - 12 Months recall type, which is set up with recall schedules for 1 month before and 1 month after the exam due date.
When she runs the report, she will capture both Daniel (who is past due) and Sally (who is due for recall next month).
