Managing Interactive PDF Forms
PDF Manager enables you to open fillable PDF forms within Eyefinity EHR and automatically populate the form fields with provider, patient, and exam data. You may also enter information manually into PDF form fields within Eyefinity EHR. PDF Manager enables you to print and save standardized forms to the patient's chart. Examples of forms that could benefit from PDF Manager include specialized consent forms or standardized work, school, or DMV forms. Completed forms may be printed and given to the patient and attached to the patient's chart.
To create a PDF form, you'll need a PDF of the form itself, and you'll need to add form fields using Adobe Acrobat Pro. To allow the PDF form to autopopulate, you'll need to give the fields specific names that correspond to data elements in Eyefinity EHR. Once you've added form fields to the PDF, a firm administrator can upload the PDF to Eyefinity EHR and make it available for providers and staff to use in the Patient Chart and Visit Note.
