Deleting Appointments in Day or Week View

This topic explains how to delete appointments in the Appointment Calendar's Day View and Week View settings. For information on deleting appointments in Book View, see Deleting Appointments in Book View.

Only providers and staff members with the Delete Appointments security permission selected in Administration can delete appointments. If you do not have this security permission, an Access Denied - Temporary Override window displays, allowing another user with permission to enter their username and password and give you temporary access. For information on setting security permissions, see Setting Up Provider Security Settings and Setting Up Staff Security Settings.
  1. Open the Appointment Calendar.

    For more information, go to Opening the Appointment Calendar.

  2. Locate the appointment in the Appointment Calendar and right-click it.
  3. Select Delete Appointment.
  4. Click Yes.
If you have Eyefinity EHR integrated with Eyefinity Practice Management, the appointment will no longer appear in the Eyefinity EHR Quick List.
