Complying with Information Requests
Healthcare providers, upon request, must give patients access to patient electronic health information (EHI) within their designated record set (DRS) without charge. While you must provide access to EHI, that does not mean you have to provide access in the manner requested—you simply need to provide access to the EHI through of the means you have readily available within your Eyefinity software. If the manner of access requested by the patient is available, you are required to provide it in the requested format. However, if the manner requested is not enabled today, you can select any other format that is available to you.
The following topics explain how to use your Eyefinity software to export EHI:
- Eyefinity EHR
- Eyefinity Practice Management
- AcuityLogic
- OfficeMate/ExamWRITER version 15
- OfficeMate/ExamWRITER version 8–12
