Managing the Encompass Bridge

The OfficeMate Integration Manager manages the service that acts as a bridge between OfficeMate and Encompass. The service monitors the OfficeMate database for new and modified patient and schedule data and transmits it securely to Encompass. The service also receives exam data from Encompass at regular intervals.

The Integration Manager displays an icon called Bridge Status. This icon indicates whether the service is able to communicate with OfficeMate and Encompass. The Bridge Status displays in the Integration Manager and the OfficeMate Administration toolbar.
